Bio
Artist statement
Gazeeva is interested in the mirroring of the inner and outer world, using art as a tool for translating this reflection rather than merely expressing concrete ideas and thoughts. She believes art to be a subconscious, beyond-human process where the artist themself is a tool and not the sole creator. Gazeeva is a self-taught artist whose practice to a great extent has been shaped by independent study and active engagement with contemporary art spaces.
